Harold Alexander Chapter VII

This is my seventh Installment in the Harold Alexander series. In this chapter , the plot reaches its peak with three main factions wanting the English Crown ---- King Harold Alexander , King William Nexalia and Queen Alicia Cuteze.

(The Scene is in Princess Maria Nexalia 's Palace. William has showed up at the palace. Princess Maria is telling him techniques to get back The Crown.)

Princess Maria: Brother , you must gather your supporters and launch a full scale revoultion against Queen Alicia. How dare she oust you like that! You should also remain styled as the King. Do not worry , your supporters will recognise that.

King William: What Audacity! She just ended the reign of our glorious Nexalia family like that. Even though I am the first Nexalian King , our family has served many Kings from the previous dynasty , the Alexanderian Dynasty.

Princess Maria: I will summon General Kevin here. Brother , you should discuss plans with him before Queen Alicia removes him from power.

King William: Agreed! I will also appeal to Prince Alexei Cuteze for help.

Princess Maria: Prince Alexei?

King William: He may be Queen Alicia 's sister but we have been on good terms since my coronation. In fact , he treats me like his own brother and possibly better than Queen Alicia.

Princess Maria: That's Great. Prince Alexei will certainly have enough power to help you? But will he?

King William: I hope so. Anyway , I will just wait here for General Kevin , and while waiting , write a letter to Prince Alexei.

(King William completes his letter , posts it , and General Kevin arrives)

General Kevin: Greetings , Your Majesty. I feel sorry about Your Majesty 's deposement but we could not help due to Pope Innocent III 's presence.

King William: That's Ok , Kevin. What I need of you and the other commanders is to make the soldiers pledge alleigance to you and rebel against Queen Alicia.

General Kevin: I have thought about that too. However , Lord Micah is currently Queen Alicia 's favourite General. At her coronation , in a week , She will announce new positions. I fear I may lose power.

King William: Kevin , infiltrate the troops now. Do it this week.

General Kevin: Yes , Your Majesty.

(The Scene is at Prince Alexei 's Palace. Prince Alexei has read the letter.)

Prince Alexei: (Writing Back)Oh Poor King William. My sister , Queen Alicia will stop at nothing , will she? I will try my best to convince her to give you back the throne. if she refuses , you will have to back down for now. I'll wait till I have more power before I dicuss any plans of rebellion with you. My loyalty lies to you. (Posts the letter and goes to Buckingham Palace)

(The Scene is in Buckingham Palace.)

Queen Alicia: Oh Micah. You are such a brilliant General. I will make you Chief General at my coronation and sack General Kevin. I will also confer the tittle of "Duke" on you. I shall marry you. Do you accept?

Lord Micah: Yes , Your Majesty. I will serve as your Consort.

Lady Susan:(Interrupts) Your Majesty , His Royal Highness Prince Alexei requests an audience.

Queen Alicia: Why does Alexei want to see me? Let him in.

Prince Alexei: (Enters) Your Majesty , Please give up the throne. King William had a good reign and the people's lives were good. Please spare a thought and at least allow him to return here as a Consort.

Queen Alicia: Consort? Hah! I am going to marry Lord Micah and at the wedding he shall be known as Duke Micah , Chief General.

Prince Alexei: Your Majesty..Great Sister...King William begs to at least be allowed to reside here in Buckingham Palace.

Queen Alicia: No Way! He can gain influence here.

Prince Alexei: Your Majesty..Please

Queen Alicia: Enough , Alexei. Leave now!

Prince Alexei: Yes , Your Majesty. (Leaves)

Lady Susan: Your Majesty , your coronation robes are ready for you to try. The Crown is also ready. Have you gotten ready the official duties to hand out for your subjects to take up?

Queen Alicia: I have , Lady Susan. Thank You for your concern.

Lady Susan: Your soon to be Royal Highness , your robes are ready too.

Lord Micah: Thank you , Susan. See you at Our Windsor residence tonight for the Grand Windsor Party.

Lady Susan: Sure , my beloved cousin.

(The Scene is in New York City.)

Archduchess Elizabeth: I hope Queen Alicia will listen to my advice. I am her cousin after all. I hope she will pass power back to Your Majesty. We will all style Your Majesty as King of England. We all recognise him as "By The Grace Of God , King Harold Alexander , King of England." We also recoginise the heir , George Alexander as CROWN PRINCE!

Others: ALL HAIL HIS MAJESTY!

King Harold: Well , Thank You everyone. I promise to be a better ruler if i get back the Crown.

Crown Prince George: Hold on , Father. Settle one thing right now. Who will be Queen? I demand an answer now!

Grand Duchess Juliana: George , that is no way to talk to your father!

Crown Prince George: Mother! I want Father to answer if The Queen is going to be you , Queen Alicia or Anya.

Anya: Me? I have never dreamt of becoming Queen!

Edwin: Your Majesty , I think it is a good idea to decide now.

King Harold: Well , Juliana , if you are healthy , will you mind becoming Queen again?

Grand Duchess Juliana: I do not even know if i am going back to England.

Baron Jude: Your Highness , it has been twenty years since you fled England. You can all hide at our Palace.

Baroness Jill: That's right. We desparately want to end it all and restore King Harold as the rightful King of England. Jude an I have been opressed , by King William Nexalia. We expect Queen Alicia Cuteze to be no different.

Sir John: Yes , Sister. Please come along with us back to England.

King Harold: It will be a great pleasure for me for you , Juliana to return to England with us.

Crown Prince George: Please Mother!

Grand Duchess Juliana: Very Well. I shall return to England with all of you.

Others: YAHOO! ALL HAIL HER MAJESTY!

(The Scene is at The Coronation Ceremony)

Pope Innocent III: I annoint your reign with the quadruple annointing and bless you , In the name of The Father and The Son and The Holy Ghost. May your reign bring prosperity to all of England. (Puts On Crown)

Queen Alicia: As Queen of England , I declare Duke Micah Windsor my Consort. Next , Duke Micah Windsor will also serve as Chief Army General and General Kevin is to be demoted to Offical Of State Security and give the tittle Lord. I also declare Lady Susan Windsor to be my Royal Advisor. Prince Alexei Cuteze is the Economist and Planner of Developments of the country.

Duke Micah: Praise Your Majesty!

Lord Kevin: (Bows)

Lady Susan: Praise Your Majesty!

Prince Alexei: Hmm...I must help King William...

Queen Alicia: You are hereby dismissed. Lord Kevin , stay behind.

Others: (Leave)

Lord Kevin: You look beautiful today , Your Majesty. Why have you asked me to stay?

Queen Alicia: Among all the nobles actively living in England, who were absent at My Coronation?

Lord Kevin: Baron Jude and Baroness Jill , Your Majesty.

Queen Alicia: Draft a warrant of arrest and arrest them and bring them before me. Do this job well and I will grant you my favour. Do not bother being loyal to King William , his reign is over, Work for me and I guarantee you will be happier.

(The Scene is at General Kevin 's Mansion)

(The Scene is at Baron Jude 's Palace, three months after the Coronation. King Harold ans his followers have arrived in England)

King Harold: It's Good To Be Home!

Grand Duchess Juliana: Harold , you were imprisoned and released and still in England , right? As for me , I left during the coup together with John. It has been such a long time since I breathed English air.

Sir John: Me too , sister. We left during the coup.

Edwin: I was imprisoned and then released. I lived as an English Worker for a while before moving to Mumbai and then subsequently to America. I miss those days when I was Duke Of Wales. When you get the Crown , please restore me , Your Majesty.

King Harold: Sure. I will restore you to Duke of Wales , Baron Jude to Earl Of Wessex , Grand Duchess Juliana to Queen , etc.

Anya: What about me?

King Harold: I will confer some official tittle on you , possibly that of Lady or Duchess.

Anya: Praise Your Majesty!

King Harold: Anyway , Anya , Thanks for taking care of me in The Bahamas.

Baron Jude: Make youselves at home. Each of your can take a room upstairs. Couples may share rooms.

Baroness Jill: I made tea. Here , help youselves.

(There is a Knock at the door)

Baron Jude: (Opens) Yes?

Lord Kevin: Baron Jude , Baroness Jill , you are hereby under arrest for being absent at Her Majesty The Queen 's Coronation as well as wedding to His Royal Highness Duke Micah.

King Harold: Hold On! They were in America!

Lord Kevin: King Harold Alexander? Weren't you deposed by the Great King William?

King Harold: I have returned.

Lord Kevin: Whatever it is , This is Her Majesty ' s order. Men , arrest Baron Jude and Baroness Jill.

Baroness Jill: Argh! Let go of me!

Archduchess Elizabeth: Hold on! I am Archduchess Elizabeth , Cousin of Queen Alicia. I demand that you release them until I personally have an audience with Her Majesty to dicsuss the matter.

Lord Kevin: Your Highness , this is Her Majesty 's sovereign order. I am sorry. Men , take them away!

Anya: Baroness Jill!

Edwin: Baron Jude!

Grand Duchess Juliana: (Runs after them) Le them come back! (Falls and cuts herself. Coughs Out Blood)

Crown Prince George: What are we to do now , Father? Mother is ill again.

King Harold: George , nurse you Mother in bed. Anya , Sir John , stay here an take after her as well. Archduchess Elizabeth , Edwin and I must go and see Queen Alicia.

(The trio departs)

(The Scene is in Prison)

Baroness Jill: jude , I'm scared. It is so cold!

Baron Jude: Jill , fear not! The Lord is with us!

Lord Kevin: On Her Majestey 's orders , both of you are to be given 50 strokes of the whip.

Baroness Jill: JUDE!!!!ARGH!!!!!

Lord Kevin: Men , start whipping them!

Baroness Jill: ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Baron Jude: Be strong , Jill! Argh...Be Strong...

(The Scene is in Buckingham Palace)

Lady Susan: Archduchess Elizabeth , Harold Alexander and Edwin Lemonter request an audience.

Queen Alicia: (Puzzled) Let them all in!

Archduchess Elizabeth: Good Evening , Your Majesty!

Queen Alicia: ELIZABETH! It has been a long time!

King Harold: Alicia , Good to see you once again.

Queen Alicia: Harold , I hope you have had gotten used to a non-Royal Life.

King Harold: That is what we came to talk about today , Alicia. But first , Please release Baron Jude and Baroness Jill. They did nothing wrong as they were in America.

Queen Alicia: I have actually ordered 50 strokes of the whip , but since you plead on their behalf , I shall reduce it to 40.

Archduchess Elizabeth: Please Your Majesty , spare them! On my behalf , Queen Alicia!

Queen Alicia: NO ELIZABETH! I actually have in mind to punish you as well since you were absent at my Coronation.

Archduchess Elizabeth: You have become unreasonable , Alicia!

Lady Susan: How dare you speak like this to the Queen!

Queen Alicia: Elizabeth , I was the one who allowed you to leave England , rememeber?

Archduchess Elizabeth: I know , but this concerns Baron Jude and Baroness Jill. They are Good nobles!

Queen Alicia: I know. But I do not care. Now that you have angered me , I will punish you. Guards , throw Archduchess Elizabeth into Prison and give her 20 whippings.

Edwin: Hey! Alicia , you were once merely a Concubine Consort. Now that you have risen throught the ranks , do not bully my wife like that!

King Harold: Alicia , I demand you stop this now! This is my order!

Queen Alicia: Harold , I am now the Monarch! I have the power and say of England.

King Harold: Alicia , return me my Throne. You were once my Consort.

Queen Alicia: King William tried that too using Prince Alexei. He failed. Harold , you and William are no different. LOSERS!

King Harold: You go too far , Alicia. Come , lets leave!

Queen Alicia: Harold and Edwin may leave buy throw Archduchess Elizabeth into Prison.

Edwin: (Takes Out a Knife and aims at Queen Alicia 's narrowly missing)

Queen Alicia: HELP HELP!!! ARREST THIS COUPLE FULL OF AUDACITY! I shall write a Death Sentence.

Edwin and Archduchess Elizabeth: (Taken Away)

King Harold: (Leaves and returns to Baron Jude and Baroness Jill 's residence in a haste)

(The Scene is at the Residence of Baron Jude and Baroness Jill)

King Harold: (Narrates Story)

Anya: What should we do? Sigh...

Grand Duchess Juliana: I feel better. We have to launch an invasion of The Castle to save them. That is all we can do.

Sir John: I have got together the men who served in your army previously. They are ready for a revolution!

Crown Prince George: I have also gathered supporters who are willing to help.

Sir John: Make a decision , Your Majesty!

King Harold: Go Ahead!
